Seminars of CC BEREAChristian Centre BEREA occasionally organises short seminars with topics that have to do with the purpose of the association (e.g. Bible study, evangelism and mission, building up the church) and complement the teaching in the local churches. We benefit from the ministry of experienced Christians from our own circles or visiting lecturers.
Purpose Driven ChurchThe one day seminar on Purpose Driven Church dealt with the question how to build a church that is aware of its goal and can prioritise on things that contribute to reaching this goal. The solution is based on two scriptures: the so called Great Commission (Mt 22:36-40) and Great Commandment (Mt 28:19-20). Their combination defines the five-fold purpose of the church:

top of page Our rootsThe Seminar on Our roots in spring 2005 looked at the history and present situation of the Christian assemblies in the context of the world-wide brethren movement. Knowing our past is both instructive and encouraging and helps to make right decisions in the present situation.

top of page The role of leaders in planting and growing a churchThe seminar was prepared for leaders and active members of local churches. It dealt with the key tasks of leaders in the ministry and drew from the Scripture, history and present experiences. Themes of the seminar:
